- This route covers the walk from Brentford High Street Car Park to Brentford Lock Canalside.
- The route is approximately 0.5 miles (804m).
- The walkway over the river Brent has a surface of wooden slats which could become slippery when wet.

Turn Left on Exiting Brentford High Street Car Park Pedestrian Access
- Upon leaving the car park pedestrian access, turn left towards Ferry Ln. then turn left again towards the crossing which is approximately 20m away.
- The surfaces here are paving stones.
- There is a dropped kerb at the crossing.
- The dropped kerb has tactile paving.
- There is an island in the middle of the road.
Cross the Road
- The pavement surface is paving stones.
- There are dropped kerbs at the crossing.

- Head over the crossing and once on the other side, follow Tallow Road straight ahead.
Follow Tallow Road
- Once on Tallow Road, follow it over the bridge for approximately 110m.
- The bridge has a easy to moderate sloped paved surface.
- The pavement here is 90cm wide.
Turn Left
- Turn left after reaching the other side of the bridge.
- Follow the walkway down a moderate slope for approximately 45m.
- The surfaces here are both paving stone and cobbled blocks.
Seating Area
- Upon reaching the bottom of the walkway there is a seating area.
- The seating area has long fixed benches facing the canalside.
- The surfaces here are both paving stone and cobbled blocks.
- There is an Information Centre to the right of the seating area..
Cross River Brent
- Once past the seating area on the right hand side, the walkway crosses over the River Brent.
- The bridge here has a moderate slope.
- The surfaces leading to the bridge are cobbled blocks.
- The bridge surface is wooden slats.
Brentford Lock Canalside
- After crossing the bridge, enter the canalside square where there are cafes and restaurants.
- The surfaces here are both paving stone and cobbled blocks.
