About this venue

World of Owls is one of the largest most diverse collections of owls in the UK and Ireland. There is also other birds of prey, reptiles, insects & other animals to see. There is a small children's play park, tea, coffee and light refreshments available, as well as a gift shop. It is a voluntary registered charity with all the staff working for no reward to look after the animals and educate the guests. It is rustic and rural and the vast majority of the animals there have been rescued.

  • Opening Hours:
  • Tuesday – Sunday (March - October) 11:00 – 18:00, last admission 17:00.
  • Tuesday – Sunday (November – February) 11:00 – 16:00, last admission 15:00.
  • Admission: Adults £5.50, Children (3 to 15 yrs) & OAP's £4.50.
  • Family ticket 2+2 £18.00 & each additional child £3.00 (Families Only).
  • Guided tours for groups of 10+ persons extra £30.00 (must be pre-booked).
  • Sorry no dogs, except guide dogs (The owners' own dogs are usually there, but the birds are used to them).
  • All proceeds go to the animals in our care at the centre.
