Introduction

  • Stadium tours are in operation on the majority of non matchdays.
  • The stadium tour is a self guided audio tour.
  • The audio tour headset can be obtained from the counter with the Armoury shop.
  • The tour is narrated by Arsenal Legend Bob Wilson with current and former Arsenal players providing commentary on certain sections of the tour.
  • There are a limited number of Blue Badge parking spaces within the Emirates Stadium and these must be booked in advance, please call 020 7619 5050 for more information on how to book.
  • Access to the car park is via the security entrance on Queensland Road.
  • Upon arrival, the security team will advise of an appropriate car parking area and space.
  • The stadium tour visits various areas around the Stadium. Six of these areas have accessible seating for guests.
  • The tour is approximately 1 hour long.
  • The floor surfaces throughout the tour vary from area to area and include: tarmac, tiles, wood, vinyl, astroturf, carpet (short pile) and concrete.
  • Throughout the tour route all doors are held open by magnetic holders.
  • There are members of staff located around the tour route at regular intervals, the tour staff can provide assistance if required.
  • The tour is clearly signposted.
  • There are accessible and standard toilets located at the end of the tour route.
  • There are additional guided tours provided on matchdays, please contact the club for more information.

Tour Times

  • Monday to Saturday (non matchday): 09:30 – 18:00 (last entry - 17.30).
  • Sunday (non matchday): 10:00 - 16:00 (last entry - 15:00).

Outside Access (The Armoury Entrance)

Reception (Stadium Tour)

  • Reception View
    • The reception area/desk is clearly visible from the entrance.

    • There are no windows, TVs, glazed screens or mirrors behind the reception point which could adversely affect the ability of someone to lip read.

Part 1 - Welcome

  • The start of the tour begins opposite the reception at a set of double doors.
  • The doors open away from you and are permanently held open.
  • The doors have an opening width of 160cm.
  • After you enter through the doors a tour host will provide you with your audio guide headphones and inform you how the system works.
  • The first section on the audio guide is Part 1 – Welcome.
  • Part 1 is an introduction from Bob Wilson.
  • There is a short steep slope leading down to a bag search area.
  • After the bag search area there is set of double doors leading out into the car park.
  • The doors are permanently held open, however one door is kept locked.
  • The width of the open door is 90cm.
  • A member of staff can open the doors fully to 180cm if required.
  • After entering the car park there is a clearly signed path to the Directors Entrance.
  • The surface of the path is tarmac.
  • The path crosses the car park access road.
  • Caution is advised due to oncoming vehicles.
  • A tour host is located at the crossing and can provide assistance if required.
  • Along the path the route crosses some dropped kerbs.
  • At the end of the path you will reach the Directors Entrance.

Part 2 - Directors Entrance (Level -1)

  • The Directors Entrance is Part 2 of the tour.
  • The Directors Entrance consists of a set of double doors.
  • These doors are permanently held open.
  • When entering the Directors Entrance take the lift/stairs to the Podium Level.
  • From the Podium Level take the next set of lifts/stairs to Level 1.

Outside Access (Directors and Diamond Club Entrance - Car Park Level)

  • Entrance View
    • This information is for the entrance located on the car park level (-1) of the West Stand.
    • The entrance area/door is clearly signed.
    • There is step-free access at this entrance.
    • There is a canopy or recess which provides weather protection at this entrance.
    • The entrance door(s) does not/do not contrast visually with its immediate surroundings.
    • The main door(s) open(s) away from you (push).
    • The door(s) is/are double width.
    • The width of the door opening is 152cm.
    • There is a small lip on the threshold of the entrance, with a height of 2cm or below.
    • There is a member of staff available for assistance at this entrance.

Other Floors (Directors and Diamond Club Car Park Entrance to Podium Level)

  • Stairs View
    • Stairs can be used to access other floors.
    • The stairs are for public use.
    • The stairs are located ahead as you enter the Directors and Diamond Club Entrance - Car Park Level.
    • The stairs are approximately 3m from the Directors and Diamond Club Entrance - Car Park Level.
    • The stairs are clearly visible from the entrance.
    • The floors which are accessible by stairs are -1 (Directors Car Park Entrance) and 0 (Podium Level).
    • There are 15+ steps between floors.

  • There is the opportunity to take photos of the stadium at this point of the tour.
  • There is step-free access to the rear of the seating area.
  • After viewing the pitchside seating area the tour continues up to Level 2 (Diamond Club), travelling back through the Directors Lounge and up the lift/stairs.

Part 5 - Diamond Club (Level 2)

  • The Diamond Club is Part 5 of the tour.
  • There is step-free access from lift to the Diamond Club.
  • There is step-free access within this area.
  • There is ample room for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre.
  • The type of flooring in this area is carpet, tiles and laminate.
  • There is some flooring which is shiny and could cause issues with glare or look slippery to some people.
  • The lighting levels are good.
  • From the Diamond Club the tour continues back down the lift to Level -1 and the Players Entrance.

Part 6 - Players Entrance and Trophy Room (Level -1)

  • Exit the lift on Level -1, turn right and follow the signage along the corridor.
  • The signage indicates this is Part 6 of the tour.
  • There is step-free access throughout the corridor.
  • The surface of the floor consists of tiles.
  • There are photographs on the wall of legendary former Arsenal managers and players including Herbert Chapman.
  • There is a sign on the floor indicating the perfect selfie spot for a photo with the Arsenal Emblem in the background.
  • Below the Arsenal Emblem there is a time capsule.
  • From here the tour continues to the Trophy Room.
  • The entrance to the Trophy Room is located to the left of the Players Entrance.
  • There are a set of double, permanently held open doors to access the room.
  • The doors have an opening of 150cm+.
  • There is step-free access throughout the Trophy Room.
  • The floor surface consists of carpet.
  • There is a queuing system in place leading to the FA Cup trophy.
  • At the FA Cup trophy there Is a photo opportunity.
  • The queuing system has a number of previous FA Cup Trophies along its route.
  • From the Trophy Room the tour continues to the Pre Players Tunnel.

Part 7 - Pre-Players Tunnel

  • The Pre Players Tunnel is part 7 of the tour.
  • There is step-free access from the Trophy Room to the Pre Players Tunnel.
  • Along the tunnel there are pictures of Arsenal players.
  • There is a slight slope along the Pre Players Tunnel.
  • The surface of the floor is vinyl.
  • At the top of the slope the tour reaches the changing room corridor.

Part 8 - Away Changing Room

  • Along the changing room corridor there is clear signage for the away and home changing rooms.
  • The away changing room is Part 8 of the tour and is located to the left after exiting the Players Tunnel.
  • There is step-free access to the away changing room.
  • The entrance to the changing room consists of two sets of double doors.
  • Both doors open away from you and are held open.

Part 9 - Home Changing Room and Manager's Office

  • Part 9 of the tour is the home changing room and the manager’s office.
  • There is step-free access to the home changing from from the away changing room.
  • The entrance to the changing room consists of two sets of double doors.
  • Both doors open away from you and are held open.
  • The doors have an opening width of 170cm.
  • The surface of the changing room is vinyl.
  • There is step-free access throughout the changing room.
  • There is bench seating around the edge of the changing room.
  • There are replica shirts of current Arsenal players around the changing room.
  • There is an opportunity to take photos at this part of the tour.
  • The manager’s office is located at the rear of the changing room.
  • The entrance to the manager’s office consists of two sets of single doors.
  • The first of doors opens towards you and the second of doors open away from you.
  • Both sets of doors are held open.
  • The doors have an opening width of 90cm.
  • The flooring in the manager’s office consists of carpet.
  • After the manager’s office the tour continues back through the home changing room, passing the showers and baths.
  • After exiting the home changing room continue ahead to the Players Tunnel.

Part 10 - Players Tunnel

  • The Players Tunnel is part 10 of the tour.
  • There is a slight slope leading through the Players Tunnel to pitchside.
  • The surface of the flooring is vinyl.
  • The lighting levels are low within the tunnel.

Part 11 - Pitchside and Dugouts

  • The pitchside and dugout areas are Part 11 of the tour.
  • The dugouts are located to the left as you exit the tunnel.
  • There is step-free access to the front row of the dugout.
  • There is a photo opportunity in the dugout area.
  • After the dugouts the tour returns down the Players Tunnel.
  • The media corridor is located to the left as you exit the tunnel.

Part 12 - Media Corridor and Interview Rooms

  • There is step-free access along the media corridor.
  • The surface of the flooring is blistered vinyl.
  • The interview rooms are located immediately on your left when entering the corridor.
  • The interview rooms are part 12 of the tour.
  • The door into the interview rooms opens away from you and is permanently held open.
  • The door has an opening width of 85cm.
  • There is a photo opportunity within the rooms.
  • After the interview rooms the tour returns to the media corridor.

Part 13 - Press Conference Room

  • The Press Conference Room is located at the end of the media corridor.
  • The Press Conference Room is part 13 of the tour.
  • The door to the Press Conference Room opens towards you and is permanently held open.
  • This door gives step-free access to the conference desk.
  • There is a steep ramp or 2 medium height steps down from the desk to the press seating area.
  • There is step-free access to the front row of seats.

  • After viewing the room guests continue to the exit.

  • The certificate can be collected from the stadium tour reception.
  • After the touchscreen area there is slight slope leading to the entrance back into the car park.
  • The doors at the entrance open away from you and have an opening width of 150cm+.
  • There is a clearly signed route leading to the Armoury Superstore.
  • There are dropped kerbs with tactile paving.
  • The route crosses the car park access road; caution is advised due to oncoming traffic.
  • There is a steep slope with handrails on both sides, leading to the superstore.
