AccessAble and Shaldon Wildlife Trust launch new Detailed Access Guides
Shaldon Wildlife Trust becomes the latest business to partner with AccessAble; a world leader in the provision of accessibility information.
Shaldon Wildlife Trust has worked with AccessAble to produce Detailed Access Guides to their zoo, set in an acre of woodland above the coast village of Shaldon in Devon. They look after and help to preserve some of the rarest and most at risk and endangered species in the world.
The Detailed Access Guides, checked in person and on-site by AccessAble's team of trained surveyors, feature 100 per cent facts, figures and photographs to help visitors plan their day at the zoo.
We know everyone’s accessibility needs are different, which is why our Detailed Access Guides cover everything from parking facilities and assistive listening to walking distances and accessible toilets.
David Livermore, Director of Business Development at AccessAble, said:
“We were thrilled to work in partnership with Shaldon Wildlife Trust to create Detailed Access Guides to their zoo. The AccessAble website will enhance the visitor experience, helping more disabled people to enjoy a zoo visit confidently.”
Zak Showell, Director at Shaldon Wildlife Trust, said:
“We’re delighted to partner with AccessAble as part of our accessibility and inclusivity journey here at Shaldon Wildlife Trust. We want the zoo to be accessible to as many people as possible so they can enjoy a visit to the zoo, see the endangered species in our care and learn about the amazing conservation work we do across the world.”
