Getting Here

  • By Road View
    • Villa Park is located to the north of Birmingham City centre, just off Trinity Road and Witton Lane.
      The postcode for the stadium is B6 6HE.
    • On non-matchdays there is parking available in front of the North Stand.
      On matchdays the nearest parking to the stadium includes; Villa Village, North Stand, Holte End, Yew Tree School, Majestic and the visiting supporters car park.
  • By Bus View
    • There is a bus stop within 150 metres of the stadium.
    • The main 2 bus routes servicing Villa Park are the No.7 and No.11.
      In addition, services 65 and 67 also operate within walking distance of Villa Park.
      Please check the timetables ahead of matches for up to date information.
      Aston Villa also operates a Villa Special bus service from Tamworth on weekend matchdays.

Stadium Tour Information

  • Stadium tours take place on various days throughout the week.
  • Tours do not take place on matchdays, including the afternoon before an evening kick-off, or the morning after.
  • On Monday to Saturday there are 3 tours, which start at 10:30, 13:00 and 15:00.
  • On Sunday, there are 2 tours which start at 10:30, which includes lunch, and at 14:00 which is the stadium tour only.
  • Booking is available on the day, however it is strongly advised to book in advance.
  • There are wheelchairs available to borrow and they are located next to the Trinity Road Stand reception desk.
  • There are 3 accessible toilets located on the Trinity Road Stand's first floor, and in the North Stand reception area on the ground floor.
  • There are standard toilets located throughout the tour route.
  • The majority of toilets are locked on non-matchdays but the tour guide will tell you which standard toilets may be used.
  • The tour guide can provide assistance with all entrance doors along the tour route.
  • A transcript of the basis of the tour can be made available in large print upon request.
  • All of the stadium tour guides have received disability awareness training.

Stadium Tour Parking

  • Stadium tour car parking is located in Villa Village Car Park, and is accessed via Witton Lane.
  • There are 39 Blue Badge parking bays located throughout the car park and visitors are advised to use the Blue Badge bays located behind the players and directors' car park.
  • The dimensions of the designated Blue Badge bays vary between 370cm x 550cm, 350cm x 500cm and 270cm x 640cm.

Stadium Tour Meeting Point - The Gas Lamp Lounge

  • The surface along the players tunnel is carpet.
  • Along the players tunnel, the tour passes the manager's room and the post-match interview room, where there is a photo opportunity next to the European Champions Cup Trophy, Football League Trophy and the FA Cup Trophy.
  • There is no background music played in the players tunnel, however the pre-match fanfare is played whilst visitors walk out onto the pitch.
  • There is a slight slope leading from the players tunnel to the pitch.

Pitch Side - Dugouts

  • Once at pitch side there is step-free access to the dugout.
  • The surface leading to the dugout is artificial grass.
  • Once at the dugout there is a photo opportunity whilst sitting in the manager's chair.
  • There are 2 clerarly marked, medium height steps leading down from the pitch to the seats.
  • At the dugout the tour guide will talk about the stadium.

Pitchside to Villa Village Shop

  • From the dugouts, the route moves along the pitch to either 15+ steps or a long steep ramp which leads to the exit from the stadium bowl.
  • The 15+ steps and long steep ramp can be overcome by going back in the changing rooms corridor and exiting via the Players and Officials Entrance.
  • Once the tour has finished visitors can go to the Villa Village Shop to purchase merchandise and collect their photos.
  • Access to the Villa Village Shop is across the Villa Village Car Park.
  • The car park surface is tarmac and there some very easy slopes along the car park.
  • Entrance to the Villa Village Shop is via 2 sets of manual, double doors with an opening width of 160cm.
  • There are security barriers just beyond the second set of doors with a width of 140cm.
  • The surface of floor in the shop is carpet.
