- This is a community building that is run by an independent community charity.
- It provides a number of Council Services as part of its remit, including hosting the Mapplewell & Staincross Library, Blue Badge Services, DIAL, Citizens Advice, Computer Training and a whole host of Library based activities.
- As part of the Charity, it offers a large number of health and well-being services such as Tai Chi, Yoga, Pilates, Forever Young Exercise, Ballroom/Sequence Dancing, a Social Luncheon Club and over 55's evening social club. It also hosts a number of children's activities from babies to toddlers.
- The two large halls and two business rooms can be booked for both business and private functions and there are a number of offices available for rent on site.
- The hall also boasts a rifle club and range, a baby and toddler nursery and an on site cafe open to the public.
