Sloper Road Pedestrian Crossing

  • The Sloper Road pedestrian crossing consists of two crossing points separated by a central island.

  • There is a slight gradient between the path and the road on both sides.
  • The surface of the road consists of tarmac.
  • There are visual indicators available at this crossing.

  • The pathway width is restricted in places by sign posts, bins and bus stops.

  • Turn off Sloper Road when you reach the old Ninian Park gates and Memorial Garden.

Car Park A to the Outer Concourse

  • After turning off Sloper Road follow the path past the Memorial Garden and through the old Ninian Park gates.
  • Follow the path through Car Park A for approximately 90m until you reach the outer concourse.
  • There is step-free access along the path.
  • The surface of the path consists of block paving.
  • The path crosses various access roads.
  • There are dropped kerbs with tactile paving at the crossing points.

Outer Concourse

  • There is step-free access around the outer concourse.
    The surface of the flooring is tarmac and block paving.
    The concourse may be congested on matchdays.
    There is a slight ramp which overcomes six steps on either side of the outer concourse, in front of the Grandstand.
  • There are food and drink stands available on matchdays.
    There are program stalls available on matchdays.
    The merchandise shop has a steep slope leading up to it.
