Access Guide
Introduction
- Services / facilities within the building include lecture theatres, teaching rooms, health and student services, open access computer rooms, a 24 hour computer lab, the Bayes Business School reception (Undergraduate Programme).
The Student Gateway on level 1 and 2 was still being completed at the time of the survey so couldn’t be accessed to be surveyed. The Student Gateway is due to be completed in October 2024. - The Drysdale Building can only be accessed via the University, Centenary and Tait Buildings. There are entrances from these buildings on the first floor. There are also entrances from the courtyard that can be accessed from the University Building. Please see the separate guides for these buildings for access information.

Location of Toilet/Changing Facilities
- Accessible toilet facilities are located on the lower ground, ground, 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors, and in the Health Centre.
- Shared standard toilet facilities are located on the lower ground and ground floors, and in the Health Centre.
- Female standard toilet facilities are located on the lower ground floor, the mezzanine floor, the second floor, and on one of the two main staircases between each floor.
- Male standard toilet facilities are located on the second floor and on one of the two main staircases between each floor.

By Road

- The main University buildings are located off Northampton Square. This is in the Clerkenwell area of London, just off the A1. This area is within the Congestion Charge Zone.
- There is on street, metered parking on the surrounding streets. On street parking is free for Blue Badge holders in the Borough of Islington, for an unlimited time when parked in bays and with a 3 hour time limit when on single yellow lines.

- There are two bus stops: City University (stop UK, UF) on St John Street outside the College Building. These stops are serviced by bus route 153. There are two bus stops: City University (stop US, UN) on Goswell Road. These bus stops are serviced by bus routes 4 and 56.

- The closest train stations to the campus are Farringdon, on the Thameslink Line and Old Street, on the Great Northern Line. The nearest main London terminus station is Kings Cross. However, all of the London terminal stations are within reach of the campus using public transport.
