Getting To (Ward 4)

  • Enter via the main entrance and turn left after approximately 5 metres, just before reception.
    Continue round to the right and proceed into the rear corridor.
    Head down the corridor for approximately 35 metres to the doors at the end.
    There is a seating area on the left beyond the doors.
    Turn right and proceed through a further set of doors after approximately 15 metres.
    Continue to the end of the corridor.
    Turn left and follow the corridor for approximately 10 metres to the signed double doors to access to the Ward 4 lift and stairs.
    The doors open away from you automatically using the push pad on the left.
    The lift is located to the left. Take the lift to the first floor.
    On exiting the lift, the entrance to the ward is on the right.
  • There is step free access, via lift, to Ward 4.
  • Ward 4 is approximately 5m from the rear lift.
  • There are resting areas along the route.
  • Wayfinding signage is provided.
  • Dementia friendly signage is not provided.
  • There is some flooring in corridors which is shiny and could cause issues with glare or look slippery to some people.
