By Road
View
- Leicester is just off the M1 and close to the A1, allowing easy access to the North and South. The M69 and M6 are also close by and offer access to Birmingham, Wales and the South West. De Montfort University is located near the centre of Leicester.
- There are also car parks situated around the Campus, for which permits are required. The main staff and visitor car park is located off The Gateway.

- There are numerous bus stops around the campus. The Hospital Hopper service can be used for free by all DMU students on production of a current and valid DMU ID card.

- The Accommodation office is located in the Estates Development Building.
- Each faculty has a disability officer whose role is to help you access disability support and ensure that you are getting appropriate assistance during your studies. The faculty disability officer (FDO) provides information, advice and guidance to academic colleagues to ensure that they are aware of the relevant learning and teaching support recommendations for disabled students.
- Alongside the support provided to students with disabilities by DAS, the Libraries and Learning Service also has a disability support team who are available to provide assistance to users with a disability, a specific learning difference, such as dyslexia, or medical condition that affects their ability to study.
