COVID-19 Information (Imperial College London)
Introduction
- Services / facilities within the building include 10 changing rooms and The Mick Reynolds Bar.
- Services / facilities within the grounds include grass football, rugby and cricket pitches, a floodlit astroturf hockey pitch and a 3G artificial pitch and training area.
- Part of the pavilion is currently used by Queens Park Rangers Football Club as their Training Centre.
Getting Here

By Road
View
- From junction 4 of the M4, head north onto Stockley Road. You immediately come to a roundabout. Take the first exit onto Holloway Lane and follow that under the motorway. At the mini roundabout take the first exit onto Sipson Road (A408). Go straight over the first min roundabout you come to, then take the first exit at the next mini roundabout, onto Sipson Lane. The entrance to the site is approximately 1km on the left.
- Parking is available at the site.

By Bus

- The nearest bus stop to the site is on Harlington High Street (Manor Lane Stop R), approximately 500 metres from the site. It is served by bus routes 90, 140 and H98.

By Train
View
- The nearest station is Hayes and Harlington, which is served by TfL Rail and GWR. Buses 90, 140 and H98 to Harlington High Street can be caught from close to the station.

By Underground

- The nearest underground station is Hatton Cross, on the Piccadilly Line. Bus 90 can be taken to Harlington High Street from outside the station.

- This entrance gives external access to the Mick Reynolds Bar. The first door can only be opened from the inside.
- There is a similar entrance on the right hand side from the external stairs. This only has 1 set of doors and leads directly into the QPR dining area (shown in photograph 3).
- The steps have handrails on opposing sides, depending which flight of steps you use. These do not cover all steps (photographs 4-7). After the landing, there is also a handrail on the opposite side, which does go to the top (photographs 5 and 7).
- There are also 2 steps, 1 deep and 1 medium height, without handrails, leading up to the stairs from the path from the car park (photograph 8).

- The bar is located on the left hand side of the first floor from the internal stairs and the first floor entrances.
- The bar also contains sofas and low tables (photograph 4).
- There are double doors, opening outwards, 145cm wide (photograph 5), at the far end of the bar, leading to the balcony and the external steps (photograph 6).
- The area on the right hand side of the first floor is normally used by QPR, but is occasionally used by the Unversity for funtions. It contain tables, 72cm from floor to base. It also contains sofas, table tennis and pool tables (photographs 7 and 8).

- The female toilets are just inside the female changing room corridor (shown in photographs 3 and 4). These toilets also contain the female showers.
- There is a shared toilet located straight ahead from the main entrance (shown in photograph 5) and also on the first floor.
Access to the Pitches from the Pavilion
- Access to the pitches is via concrete and tarmac surfaced paths from main entrance.
- To access the 3G pitch follow the path round to the rear of the pavilion, then head for the right hand side of the car park to access the pitch (photographs 3 and 4).
- Access to the Hockey Astroturf pitch is at the far end of rear car park, via a gate 223cm wide and brick path, uneven in places (photographs 5-7).
- Access to the grass pitches on this side of Sipson Lane is at the very far end of the rear car park, leading directly onto the grass (photograph 8).
- To access the grass pitches on the far side of Sipson Lane, head past the Imperial College car park area and towards the main entrance to the site (photographs 9 and 10). Cross Sipson Lane to reach the entrance to the field (photographs 11 and 12).
