  • There are seminar rooms, laboratories and offices on the ground and first floors. There is a lecture theatre and common room. The left hand side of the first floor and the whole of the second floor are occupied/used by Thrombosis Research Institute.

Building Parking

  • The building does not have its own dedicated parking.

Reception (Main Reception)

  • The main reception is located in the entrance lobby, to the left as you enter.

  • The lighting levels in the reception area are moderate to good.

Getting Around

    • There is step free access throughout the building via lift(s).
    • There are doors in corridors which have to be opened manually.

    • There is not clear signage for building facilities/areas in the foyer/reception area.
    • There is clearly written and pictorial directional signage at key points of circulation routes.
    • There is flooring in corridors which is shiny and could cause issues with glare or look slippery to some people.
    • There is good colour contrast between the walls and floor in all areas.
    • The lighting levels are good.

    • Some corridors in the building have a width below 75cm, such as the one shown in photograph 3. These are mainly side corridors and the main corridor is wider than 75cm at all points.
