Getting Here

  • Junction 32 Yorkshire Outlet Shopping is located off the M62, on the north side of junction 32..
    Exit the M62 at junction 32 and take the exit marked Castleford A639, Outlet Village and Xscape.
    At the traffic lights bear left onto the A639, marked on the road for XSCP. Move across into the right hand lane, marked on the road for OUTLET XSCP. At the roundabout take the 4th exit onto Tomahawk Trail. Continue along Tomahawk Trail to the next roundabout. The Orange Car Park is on the right, accessed from the 3rd exit. For vehicles over 2m in height take the 2nd exit and take one of the entrances on the right to enter the Blue Car Park.
  • There are 2 car parks at the shopping outlet. The Orange Car Park is located at the front of the outlet and has a height restriction barrier.
    The Blue Car Park is located at the left hand side of the outlet and does not have a height restriction barrier. There is designated parking for Blue Badge holders and parent and child bays in both car parks.
  • There is a bus stop within 150 metres of the shopping centre.
  • The nearest bus stop is Junction 32 Retail Outlet, on Tomahawk Trail. The bus stop is located to the front left of the outlet. After exiting the bus, the outlet is immediately ahead.

  • The nearest railway station is Glasshoughton.
  • Glasshoughton Station is approximately 0.5 miles from the outlet. Exit the station onto the A639, opposite Xscape. Cross over the A639 using the pedestrian controlled crossing and proceed along the front of Xscape. After approximately 175m there is a marked crossing point. Proceed across the crossing point. Continue straight ahead for approximately 30m to Tomahawk Trail. There is another marked crossing point. After crossing Tomahawk Trail the outlet is immediately ahead.

  • The majority of Blue Badge bays are located in the right hand section.
  • There are 23 Blue Badge bays running from the front left to the rear left of the central section of the car park.
  • There is also 1 Blue Badge bay at the front right of the central section.
  • There are 28 Blue Badge bays in the right hand section.
  • There are 27 Parent and Child bays, 22 are located at the right hand side of the central section leading from front to back. 5 are located at the front of the right hand section.
  • Access from the left section and the left hand side of the central section is by a central footpath.
  • The surface is uneven concrete tiles.
  • There are some very easy slopes which do not meet the criteria (less than 2.8 degrees).
  • There are bollards between the car park and the footpath.
  • The minimum width between the bollards is 117cm.
  • Following the footpath through the car park towards the shopping outlet leads to a marked, raised, crossing point over the main car park access road. This is not a zebra crossing and is hatch marked with tactile paving on both sides.
  • After crossing the access road, turn right and proceed along the footpath.
  • The surface of the footpath is concrete tiles.
  • There is a very easy upwards slope which does not meet the criteria (less than 2.8 degrees).
  • At the end of the footpath, turn left and the Orange car park entrance to the shopping outlet is ahead.
