Getting Here

By Road
View
- Located off the A58(M) and the A64(M) which are the main arterial roads in Leeds City Centre. You need to exit onto Claypit Lane towards the City Centre and past the First Direct Arena. When you reach Woodhouse Lane you need to turn right and the University will be on your left.
- There are 2 short stay car parks situated off Portland Crescent. The first is called Rose Bowl Short Stay car park and the other is the Rose Bowl underground car park.
There is a long stay car park called Woodhouse Lane car park on Woodhouse Lane just a few minutes from the university grounds. All parking is by private contractors and there isn't any parking provided directly by the University.

By Bus
View
- There is a bus stop on Portland Way which is served by the number 5 bus between Leeds City and Halton Moor.
There is a bus stop on Woodhouse Lane and is served by many buses going mainly around the outskirts of the City, such as the number 1, 8, 26, 56 and 97.
Most buses serving the University area will pass the City Centre or the Railway Station for links throughout the United Kingdom.

By Train

- Leeds Railway Station is the nearest station and is served by many different providers such as Virgin East Coast Main Line, East Midlands Trains, Cross Country, TransPennine Express and Northern Railway with direct links to London, Manchester, Hull, Sheffield, Glasgow and many other United Kingdom destinations.
The University is just a few minutes from the Railway Station and can be walked or there is ample travel links.

- The Disability Advice team are able to provide support, advice and guidance to any disabled students. Disabled members of staff should contact their line manager, in the first instance, should they need any advice or guidance.
Student Support Includes but is not limited to:
- Exam or Assessment adjustments (e.g. extra time, use of a PC, etc).
- Support with reading and research (e.g. extended book loans, assistance to locate or/and collect research material, access to alternative formats, etc).
- Access to specialist equipment and assistive software (e.g. text to speech to assist with research and proofreading, mind mapping to assist with planning and organising your work, a recording device to assist with note taking, etc).
- Access to handouts and notes in advance of taught sessions.
- Additional support from your tutors (e.g. assistance to catch up on missed work or to check your understanding, as required).
