Car Park D to Raw Dykes Road (via Filbert Street)
- Exit Car Park D via the car park access point located on Filbert Street.
- When exiting the car park turn left and continue along Filbert Street for approximately 60m.
- There is a dropped kerb with no tactile paving leading onto the pathway from the car park.
- At the end of the pathway bear left onto Raw Dykes Road.
- There is step-free access throughout this part of the route.
- The car park and pathway surface is tarmac.
- Visitors can also exit onto Raw Dykes Road at the rear of the car park.
- There is a steep slope and a gate opening at the rear of the car park (as shown in photos 5 and 6).
- The gate is single, opens towards you and has an opening width of 130cm.
Raw Dykes Road to the Raw Dykes Road Crossing Point
- Continue along Raw Dykes Road for approximately 350m until you reach the Raw Dykes Road Crossing Point.
- There is step-free access throughout this part of the route.
- The surface of the pathway is tarmac.
- On match days there is a food stall located on the path leading to the Raw Dykes Road crossing point.
- On matchdays Raw Dykes Road is closed off as part of the traffic exclusion zone.
- On matchdays this part of the route can become congested.
- There is tactile paving leading to the crossing point.
Raw Dykes Road Crossing Point to the Outer Concourse
- This crossing point consists of four road crossings.
- At the first crossing point traffic is coming from your right.
- At the second crossing point traffic is coming from your left.
- After completing the second crossing point turn left and head towards the third crossing point.
- At the third crossing point traffic is coming from your right.
- At the fourth crossing point traffic is coming from your left.
- After completing the fourth crossing continue ahead where you will approach the outer concourse.
- There are dropped kerbs with tactile paving at each crossing point.
- Each crossing point is controlled by a visual indicator.
- The visual indicators are activated by push buttons, these are at a height of 103cm.
- There are rotating cones located at the base of the push button boxes to indicate when it is safe to cross.
- There is step-free access throughout this part of the route.
- The surface of the road and each crossing point is tarmac.
- There is step-free access onto the outer concourse.
- On matchdays Raw Dykes Road is closed off as part of the traffic exclusion zone.
Outer Concourse
- The outer concourse has a block paving surface. All stands are accessible via the outer concourse.
- On match days there are independent food stalls and mobile counters selling match day programmes located around the concourse. There is a shirt printing and information point, which is located on the North West corner of the ground. There is a music stage with live entertainment located at the front of the North Stand.
- All entrances into the stadium have step-free access but there are some very easy slopes along the outer concourse.
- Opposite the West Stand there is the Leicester City FC Remembrance Garden.
- Clear directional signage is provided on the concourse.
- There is a stadium plan/map on the concourse.
- There is a steward/member of staff available for assistance on match days.
