Introduction

  • Comments View
    • The karting track is one of three sites in this neighbourhood managed by Oasis Play.
    • An Inclusion Project operates across all three sites to support disabled children and young people (5 - 16 years) and their siblings.
    • Children/ young people may be supported by a parent or carer.
    • Alternatively, the project can provide support workers on a 1:4 or 1:1 basis.
    • These sessions are free of charge.
    • The project also supports disabled young people, aged 15 - 25, to be project volunteers.

    • The karting track is for children 8 - 18 years.
    • Participants can learn to drive, maintain vehicles and marshal on the track.
    • There are some separate sessions for different ages and for boys and girls - please see the website for details of sessions times and school holiday activities.
    • The centre is also available to hire for groups and parties.
