- There have been no changes to the parking.
- The main terminal can now only be accessed through the left hand door, (when facing the terminal from the DLR corridor). The middle door is the exit and the right hand door is closed.
- All customers are now required to enter the main building via a sectioned area in the pre-existing corridor to undergo a temperature testing process via a remote camera.
- Only customers and staff are allowed to enter the terminal. Therefore 'Track and Trace' is in operation.
- Automated hand sanitising stations are located across the airport.
- The Check-in area has a designated exit point.
- Signage is in place at Check-in, Security and at the Departure Gates.
- Protective screens have been installed at all Check-in desks, Customer Service desks, Security areas and Departure Gate desks.
- Urinals and hand washing facilities have restricted access to enable spacing for social distancing.
- Face masks are mandatory for anyone entering the airport terminal. Other than legal exceptions.
- The airport has achieved an Airport Health Accreditation award from the Airports Council International, as a COVID secure environment.

Getting Help and Assistance
- There is a member of staff available for help and assistance.
- There is not an assistance dog toilet or toileting area at the venue/nearby.
- Water bowls for assistance dogs are available.
- There are mobility aids available.
- The mobility aids available include wheelchairs.
- To obtain mobility aids please contact from the information desk in the main concourse or by contacting any of the PRM (Special Assistance) staff.
- Passengers requiring assistance will be taken to aircraft using lifts to access the apron, buses to access the far gates, and stair climbers to access the aircraft. Passengers requiring assisted access are collected from the Priority Seating in the Departures Lounge by PRM staff. There are also wheelchairs available to help PRM staff assist passengers.
Outside Access (Immigration)
- This information is for the entrance located at the far end of the International Arrivals corridor.
- There is level access into the venue.
- The main door(s) open(s) automatically.
- The door(s) is / are double.
- The width of the door opening is 120cm (3ft 11in).
- There is level access to the service(s).
- There is not a hearing assistance system.
- This venue does not play background music.
- The lighting levels are bright.
- Wheelchair users and passengers being assisted through the airport will be directed to use Immigration Desk 1.
- Other passengers will have to use the queuing system, shown in photograph 2.
- Passengers who are a passport holder of a country in the European Economic Area (EEA) - including the UK - or Switzerland; and have the EEA chip logo on their passport, can also use the E-Passport Readers.
- Photograph 3 shows the Landing Card Stations, 100cm high, located in the immigration area.
Immigration Desk 1
- Desk 1 is 28 metres from the Immigration entrance.
- There is level access to the desk.
- The desk is high.
- The desk does not have a lowered section.
- The gap between Desks 1 and 2 is 93cm wide.
- The entrance to International Baggage Reclaim in 10 metres from Desk 1.
- E-Passport readers are also available in this area.
- The barriers for these readers are 45cm wide.
- The system uses facial recognition technology to compare your face to the photograph recorded on the 'chip' in your passport. Once the checks are made, the gates will open automatically for you to go through.
- To use the gates you need to be able to stand so the software can take your picture.
