Getting Here

  • By Road View
    • The College Building is located on the Westbound (towards Woolwich) Carriageway of the A205 Plumstead Road.
    • Plumstead Road is a red route dual carriageway where stopping is not permitted. Visitor Blue Badge Parking is located in the staff car parks off Villas Road and Invermore Place. There is also standard pay and display parking on both of these roads.
  • By Bus View
    • Bus routes 96, 99, 122, 177, 180, 244, 380, 422, 469, 472, 672 and N1 travel along Plumstead road on both directions. Towards Woolwich, the nearest stop is Stop WP (Greenwich Community College). Towards Plumstead, the nearest stop is Maxey Road. From this stop, continue to walk towards Plumstead then use the pedestrian crossings to reach the college. All London buses have a powered ramp and designated space for wheelchair users.
  • By Train View
    • The nearest train stations are Plumstead (0.4 miles) and Woolwich Arsenal (0.6 miles). Both stations are close to Plumstead Road for connecting buses. Woolwich Arsenal Station also connects to Docklands Light railway (DLR) services towards Canning Town, Bank and Stratford.
  • By Underground View
    • The nearest underground station is Greenwich North (Jubilee Line). Bus routes 422 and 472 connect North Greenwich Station with the college.

Useful Information

  • Staff receive Disability Awareness training as part of their standard training package. Some staff may have additional training, such as Communication or Assistive Technology. Therefore some staff are able to assess and offer learning support for students with additional needs.
