Getting Here

  • By Road View
    • Edgware Community Hospital is located off Burnt Oak Broadway (A5), and can be accessed via the A5109 from Apex Corner.
    • There are two pay and display car parks (car parks A and B), with limited parking available for visitors. Both car parks contain Blue Badge bays, and there are several further Blue Badge bays available throughout the site.

    • There is a bus stop on Burnt Oak Broadway with is served by the following bus routes:- 32 (Edgware Bus Station to Kilburn Park Station) 142 (Watford Junction Station to Brent Cross) 204 (Sudbury Town Station to Edgware Station) 251 (Arnos Grove Station to Edgware Station) 292 (Borehamwood to Colindale).

    • The nearest railway station is Mill Hill Broadway, which is served by the Thameslink Line.

    • The drop off point is located opposite the Hospital Main Building entrance.
    • To access the Alzheimer's Unit entrance from the drop off point, access the path opposite the Walk In Centre using the raised crossing. Take the slope with a brick block surface and hand rails both sides leading up to Burnt Oak Broadway. This is steep in places (photographs 2 and 3). At the top of the slope is a level path with a tarmac surface (photograph 4). Head to the temporary parking area, then turn right and take the narrow path with a concrete tile surface towards the entrance (photograph 5). This route is approximately 50 metres. To access the Children's Health Services entrance from the drop off point, access the pavement on the opposite side of the road from the Hospital Main Building using the raised crossing (photograph 6). Follow the brick block path past the next crossing and follow round to the left (photograph 7). This path becomes tarmac and has a steep slope up to the Blood Donors car park, where the entrance can be accessed. This route is approximately 35 metres.
