Getting Here

  • By Road View
    • Shire Hill Hospital is situated in Bute Street to the north east of Glossop town centre in a built up residential area. Road access to Bute Street is from the B6105 to the west or north or from Manor Park Road to the south.
    • There are 2 onsite car parks. There are 2 Blue Badge parking bays in the car park to the rear of the admin building. This car park is also closest to the main entrance. The main car park for staff and visitors is located at the rear of the site behind the main building.

    • There is a bus stop outside the front of the admin building.

    • The nearest station to the hospital is Glossop. Shire Hill Hospital is 0.9 miles from the train station (16 min walk). To walk to the hospital from the station turn right as you exit the station then immediately left into Norfolk Street (B6105). Walk north until you reach Hall Meadow Road on the right, turn into that road until it becomes Church Street. Turn left into Thorpe Street, then right into Blackshaw Road. Turn left into Bute Street and the hospital is at the end of the road.
