Getting To The Hospital (Queen's Medical Centre)

  • By Road View
    • The Queen’s Medical Centre is located on the Southwest side of Nottingham.
      From the M1 leave at Junction 25 and take the A52 (Brian Clough Way) towards the city centre.
      At the roundabout go straight across and the entrance to the hospital will be on the right.
    • There are several open-air car parks situated around the site, some of which are specifically for staff or Blue Badge holders only.
  • By Bus View
    • There are various bus services that are run by Nottingham City Transport that stop at the site.
      There are Medilink services that run to and from the Queen’s Drive Park and Ride.
    • There is an onsite bus stop.
    • There are 4 onsite bus stops that serve different parts of the hospital site.
    • The bus stops are sheltered, with the majority of them having fixed seating.
      There is space for a wheelchair user in the bus shelters.
    • The route from the bus stops to the hospital buildings are via tarmac paths, some of which are uneven.
      There are road crossings with dropped kerbs, most of which have tactile paving.
      The routes are long with steep slopes.
  • By Train View
    • Nottingham Station is approximately 2 miles from the Queen's Medical Centre.
      Services which stop at the station include; Cross Country, East Midlands, and Northern Rail.
  • By Tram View
    • There is a tram stop on site at Queens Medical Centre.
      Trams run every 7 minutes during peak times.
      There is a bridge connecting the tram stop to B Floor of Queens Medical Centre.
      The bridge has a slight gradient.

Getting Help and Assistance (Queen's Medical Centre)

  • There is a Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) at the hospital.
  • The Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) is located on B Floor of the Central Block, in the corridor to the right of reception.

  • There is an assistance dog toilet or toileting area on the hospital site.

Getting To (Chapel)

    Take the lift to D Floor.
    Exit the lift and turn left and left again and proceed along the corridor.
    The Chapel is located on the right.
