Getting Here

By Road
View
- Travelling on the A1(M), take exit 65 onto A1(M) and A1 towards Newcastle and Gateshead.
Continue on the A1 and take exit 66 onto the A167 towards Gateshead (South).
At the roundabout take the third exit onto Durham Road towards Gateshead (South).
Keep right onto the highway and keep right onto the A167(M).
Take the exit onto the B1318 towards Gosforth.
At the roundabout take the second exit onto Great North Road.
In 0.8 miles turn left and then at the roundabout take the second exit onto Jubilee Road.
In 300 yards you will arrive at the entrance to the hospital. - There are pay and display car parks located around the site which can be used by staff, visitors and patients.

Getting To (Building 14 - Chapel)

- Access to Building 14 - Chapel is via the Building 19 main entrance.
- Enter Building 19 via the main entrance and continue past reception through the entrance to All Other Wards and Departments.
Proceed down the corridor to the end. The corridor has an easy incline.
At the end of the corridor turn right and follow the main corridor past the Lounge, Café and toilets until the bend to the left, approximately 80 metres further.
There is a long, easy incline throughout the corridor.
Follow the corridor beyond the bend for approximately 20 metres and the Chapel is located on the right. - There is ramped/sloped access to Building 14 - Chapel.
- Building 14 - Chapel is approximately 150m from the All Other Wards and Departments entrance.
- Wayfinding signage is provided.
- Dementia friendly signage is not provided.
- There is flooring in corridors which is shiny and could cause issues with glare or look slippery to some people.
