  • Please note that store and restaurant opening hours vary, visitors are advised to check with individual stores/restaurants before travelling.

Parking

  • The Lexicon has its own multi-storey car park, The Avenue Car Park.
  • There are 69 Blue Badge parking bays on levels LG, 1, 2, 3, and 4.
  • There are not any designated parent and child parking bays.
  • There is a 2m (6ft 7in) height restriction to enter the car park.
  • There are alternative car parks on Princess Square, Albert Road, and Braccan Walk.

The Lexicon

  • The Lexicon is an open air shopping area situated in the centre of Bracknell, and is home to shops, a cinema, cafés and restaurants.
  • The ground surface in the shopping area ranges from concrete tiles to block paving.
  • Bench seating is situated throughout the area.
  • Bracknell Market runs on Fridays and Saturdays 09:00 - 16:00 outside Princess Square.
  • For onsite enquiries about The Lexicon, there are numerous security staff wearing hi-viz vests available to assist.
  • Alternatively the Management Suite is located in the Welcome Hall, on the lower ground level of The Avenue Car Park.

Princess Square to Braccan Walk

  • The distance between Princess Square and Braccan Walk is approximately 100m.
  • This section begins at Princess Square and continues left along Braccan Walk to the intersection at High Street.
  • Looking along Braccan Walk, the entrance to Princess Square shopping centre is on the left, with benches on the right hand side.
  • The thoroughfare here is approximately 18m wide, and there is a very slight slope along the length of Braccan Walk.
  • There is also a very slight camber towards the centre of the thoroughfare.
  • Heading along Braccan Walk there are benches in the middle of the thoroughfare after approximately 30m.
  • There are shops on both sides, and cafés on the left with outdoor seating which may serve to reduce the width of the thoroughfare.
  • There are also benches and trees in the centre of the thoroughfare, restricting access width to approximately 5m.

Union Square

  • The length of this section is approximately 25m.
  • This section begins where Braccan Walk opens into Union Square.
  • The pedestrianised High Street runs across Braccan Walk from left to right here.
  • There are restaurants, pubs and seating located around the side of the square.
  • Heading straight across Union Square for approximately 20m, Braccan Walk continues towards The Avenue.

Braccan Walk to The Avenue

  • The length of this section is approximately 75m and begins at Union Square, with Five Guys restaurant on the left.
  • After leaving Union Square, Braccan Walk continues on an incline with a slight slope towards The Avenue.
  • The thoroughfare here is covered, with benches situated along the centre of the thoroughfare after approximately 20m.
  • The Avenue is a further 50m along Braccan Walk.

The Avenue to Eagle Lane

  • The distance from The Avenue to Eagle Lane is approximately 125m.
  • This section begins looking towards Eagle Lane, with Braccan Walk on the left.
  • The pedestrianised level thoroughfare is laid to block paving along its entire length.
  • The Avenue is approximately 20m wide with a tree and flowerbeds in the middle.
  • There are cafés with outdoor seating in the centre of the thoroughfare, which reduce the width to approximately 3m.
  • Heading further along, there are shops on both sides, the thoroughfare opening out to full width.

Eagle Lane to High Street

  • The distance from Eagle Lane to High Street is approximately 115m.
  • This section begins at the end of The Avenue looking along Eagle Lane with The Avenue behind.
  • The width of the thoroughfare here is approximately 10m.
  • The is a very slight slope along the length of Eagle Lane.
  • There is tiled paving with a slight camber towards the centre of the thoroughfare.
  • There is a covering which runs along the length of Eagle Lane.
  • Heading along Eagle Lane, there are restaurants on both sides with outdoor seating which reduces the width of the thoroughfare.
  • After approximately 50m there is outdoor restaurant seating on both sides, reducing the width to approximately 4m.
  • Further along the lane there are bollards on the left hand side, with a minimum access width of 190cm.
