About OXSRAD Sports and Leisure Centre

OXSRAD is a sport & recreation centre, which provides activities, facilities and support to the local disabled community. We operate a sensory room, a spa bath, disabled gym sessions, rebound therapy sessions and integrated classes such as boccia, Archery, Circuits, Dance, Spinning and Gentle Moves. We work with over 470 disabled and disadvantaged members, providing a safe and friendly centre for them to visit. Many of our members use OXSRAD to improve their fitness and activity levels and work at their own pace, according to their own disabilities. Some members are profoundly disabled and may use the sensory room, with the help of our specially designed hoists, to enjoy brain stimulation and massage. Others simply use it as a social place to meet friends and likeminded people to share stories, have some fun together and reduce isolation and loneliness. OXSRAD is also an integrated centre non-disabled members are welcome, this also promotes increased awareness within the non-disabled community.
