Getting Here

  • By Road View
    • The Curran Building is located in Glasgow on Cathedral Street which runs between Glasgow Cathedral and Glasgow Queen Street Station.
      From the M8 westbound, at junction 15 use the left 2 lanes to take the A803 exit to Cathedral Glasgow Cross.
      Continue onto Stirling Road.
      After the first set traffic lights, turn right onto St. James Road.
      The Curran Building is the first building on the left.
      From the M8 eastbound, at junction 15, use the right hand lane to merge onto Springburn Rd/A803 towards Cathedral/Glasgow Cross.
      At the first traffic lights turn right onto Castle St/A8.
      At the next traffic lights, in front of the Royal Infirmary, take the right hand land and turn right. Then take the next left on to Stirling Road.
      Turn right onto St. James Road.
      The Curran Building is the first building on the left.
    • There is an underground car park off Cathedral Street and a surface car park of St James Road for permit holders.
      There is on street parking on St James Road including Blue Badge bays. There is a public car park on Cathedral Street, Cathedral Precinct Car Park 2.

    • Glasgow Queen Street is 700m from the Curran Building. Take the Hanover Street exit, turn left and then right along Cathedral Street. The Curran Building is past Strathclyde Sports on the left.
      High Street is a closer station, but it is below street level and has no lifts. It is not accessible to wheelchair users.
  • By Underground View
    • The nearest Underground Station is Buchanan Street which is 850m from the Sports Centre. From the station exit go up Buchanan Street and turn right on to Bath Street. Continue on to Cathedral Street. The Curran Building is on the left.
      The station is underground and has no lifts. It is not accessible to wheelchair users.

Security Gates
