About Guy's Cancer Centre

Our new, state-of-the-art Cancer Centre welcomed its first patients on 26 September 2016. The new centre brings most of our cancer care under one roof, alongside ground-breaking research and clinical trials, helping us to improve cancer treatments and outcomes.

At Guy’s Cancer, our vision is to be "a world leader in caring for people with cancer – continuously innovating to improve the lives of our patients". The new building was designed to help us deliver this vision through our three key aims to be:

• patient-centred – putting patients at the heart of our services so that they can access the best possible care and experience
• research-driven – helping our patients to benefit from cutting-edge research and the latest technologies
• clinically-led – our highly experienced staff strive to ensure that our cancer services are of the highest quality.
