St Albans, a unique English Cathedral City, was the third-biggest city in Roman Britain. Now a bustling market town, with stunning countryside and lush green parks. Medieval architecture and Roman remains showcase the city’s history. High street stores and independent shops offer fabulous shopping, and there’s a range of eating and drinking options to suit all tastes. The Verulamium Museum displays artefacts from St Albans’ Roman past, and Verulamium Park has the remains of the ancient Roman wall. Visitors are welcomed to St Albans Cathedral, which holds daily events, tours and concerts in a stunning setting.
