COVID-19 Information
- The information in this section was taken in October 2020.
- There have been no changes to the parking or Blue Badge parking bays.
- Hand sanitising stations are located at entrances and entry points.
- All buildings now have one way systems in place.
- The University is currently operating at 20% staff and student on campus restrictions at any one time.
- Floor markings are in place to identify social distancing requirements.
- All desks with student facing interactions have been fitted with protective screens.
- There is single person list access throughout all buildings.
- All toilets have been signed to indicate that face coverings should be worn and some larger facilities have had the number of washbasins and stalls limited.
- Some toilets have been designated as single use only.
- Some changing areas have been limited to enable social distancing.
- The University has situated Student Ambassadors at building entrances to provide advice on procedures and social distancing measures.
- The venue is not certified with the 'We’re Good To Go’ COVID-19 industry standard.

Introduction
- The Student Hub takes up the majority of the ground floor of the Science Centre, containing offices and meeting rooms as well as a reception where students can raise any queries they have.

Getting Here

By Road
View
- From the M6 motorway, take exit 16 following the signs for the A500/A52 City centre.
Turn left onto Stoke Road /A5006, then right onto Avenue Road.
At the next roundabout take the first exit onto College Road. - There is limited parking on College Road and further parking on Leek Road 5 minutes away. Permits are needed to park at these sites.
- From the M6 motorway, take exit 16 following the signs for the A500/A52 City centre.

By Bus
View
- There are bus stops on College Road that stop outside the front of the Beacon Building. Bus links are 21a, 25, 6 and 6a.

- The nearest train station is Stoke-on-Trent on Station Road, which is less than 500 metres away.
