Beccles Marsh Easy Access Trail - Trail 1

  • This is the Easy Access Trail.
  • This trail is approximately 1.5 miles / 2.4 km.
  • The Beccles Marsh Trail starts from both car parks.
  • The trail continues down wide and narrow paths, past the tourist information centre and The Quay.
  • This trail continues in a circular route back to the car park.
  • There is signage at the beginning of the trail.
  • There is wooden seating and tables available along this trail.

Paths

  • The path surfaces along this trail start as compact earth with grass verges and then vary to mud, cobbles and concrete.
  • The widths of the paths range between 75cm to 150cm.
  • There are some easy to moderate slopes on this trail.
  • Assistance for wheelchairs is needed on this trail.

Footbridge

  • There is a foot bridge leading from car park 2 to the trail and it is 160cm in width.
