The East Wood Trail

  • The East Wood Trail starts next to the visitor centre and runs in a loop and finishes next to the visitor centre.

  • There are some easy to moderate slopes in places.
  • There are benches located at points along the path.
  • The new fen viewpoint is located along The East Wood Trail.
  • This is accessed by an easy slope.

The Main Circular Trail

  • The Main Circular Trail runs around the edge of the nature reserve.
  • The surface of the paths are either surfaced or grass.
  • There are easy to moderate slopes located along the path.
  • There are steeper slopes located the rear of the trail.
  • The Mere Hide is located along the trail after the Trial Wood Trail.
  • The Mere Hide is accessed by a wooden path.
  • There is an easy slope leading up to the hide.
  • The entrance to the hide is a single width door which is 79cm and opens away from you.
  • The benches in the hide can be moved for wheelchair users.
