Morfa Retail Park Bus Stop to Brunel Way Pedestrian Crossing Point

  • After exiting the bus, turn right and follow Brunel Way for approximately 20m until the path reaches the bridge over the River Tawe.
  • Before the bridge the path crosses an access road. There are dropped kerbs on either side of the access road with tactile paving.
  • Follow the path for a further 90m until you reach the pedestrian crossing.
  • There is step-free access along this part of the route.
  • The surface of the path throughout this part of the route is tarmac.

Brunel Way Pedestrian Crossing Point

  • Brunel Way crossing point has dropped kerbs either side of the road with tactile paving.
  • The crossing point is controlled by a visual indicator.
  • The visual indicators are activated by push buttons.
  • There are rotating cones located at the base of the push button boxes to indicate when it is safe to cross.
  • Caution is advised when crossing because of traffic.
  • At this crossing point the traffic is coming from both directions
  • After crossing the road follow the path for approximately 20m until it merges with the Morfa Retail Park pathway.

Brunel Way to the Outer Concourse

  • There are two possible routes/access points to the outer concourse.
  • The first route is a short path which leads towards the south-east corner of the outer concourse.
  • The surface of this path is tarmac and has a steep slope leading to the outer concourse.
  • There are two sets of bollards on this path.
  • The second route is a path which runs alongside the East Stand.
  • Follow the path for approximately 110m.
  • At the end of the path turn left and cross the road to access the outer concourse.
  • There is a dropped kerb at the road giving access onto the south-west corner of the outer concourse.

Outer Concourse

  • The outer concourse has a concrete surface and is step-free throughout. All stands are accessible via the outer concourse.
  • On matchdays there are independent food stalls and mobile counters selling match day programmes located around the concourse. The Jacks Fan Zone is located on the concourse at the corner of the South Stand- Family Stand.
  • All entrances into the stadium have step-free access.
  • There are Braille and tactile maps of the stadium located on all corners of the concourse. There are bollards located across the walkway as it passes in front of the main reception entrance.
  • Clear directional signage is provided on the concourse.
  • There is a stadium plan/map on the concourse.
  • There is a steward/member of staff available for assistance on matchdays.
