Mobile MRI Reception

  • The Mobile MRI Reception is located to the rear of the hospital, between the Old Greenoaks building and the Day Surgery Unit.
  • A member of staff will escort patients from the reception to the scanning unit.

Mobile MRI Reception to Oakwood Hall Drive

  • After exiting the Mobile MRI Reception building, bear left and proceed along the footpath.
  • The footpath is concrete paving tiles.
  • Turn left and follow the footpath along a steep slope.
  • The surface of the footpath becomes tarmac on the slope.
  • At the bottom of the slope turn left onto Oakwood Hall Drive.

Oakwood Hall Drive to Rotherham Dialysis Clinic Car Park Crossing Point

  • Proceed along Oakwood Hall Drive following the footpath along the side of the Mobile MRI Reception building.
  • The surface of the footpath is tarmac and is uneven in places.
  • There may be cars parked partially on the footpath creating obstructions.
  • Continue along the footpath to the Rotherham Dialysis Clinic.

Rotherham Dialysis Clinic Car Park Crossing Point

  • At the entrance to the Rotherham Dialysis Clinic Car Park there is a designated crossing point.
  • The crossing point is marked in black and white.
  • Some of the white markings are faded.
  • There are dropped kerbs with tactile paving on both sides of the crossing point.
  • The car park is quiet and traffic passes from both directions.

  • Continue along the footpath ahead after the crossing point.
  • The surface of the footpath is tarmac and is uneven in some places.
  • The Mobile MRI Scanning Unit is located ahead on the road, to the right of the footpath.
  • There may be obstructions along the footpath created by cars parked partially on the pavement.

Outside Access (Mobile MRI Scanner Unit Entrance)
