By Road
View
- Richmond Place is located in the centre of Edinburgh, between the Central and Holyrood Campuses.
- The Transport and Parking Office of the University of Edinburgh manages parking at the University. University car parks are for the use of permit holders only and are subject to the university’s parking regulations. Permits are available for visitors to the university.

By Bus
View
- Richmond Place is served by the numbers 7, 31, 37, 47, N7, N31, N37, X31, X37, X47 and X62 buses stopping at the Surgeon's Hall bus stop on the A7, or the number 14 bus stopping at the Richmond Lane bus stop on West Richmond Street.

By Train

- Richmond Place is approximately half a mile from Edinburgh Waverley Train Station, the city's main train station. Buses and taxis are available from the station to the site.
