Getting Here

  • By Road View
    • The Museum is located within the main part of the University of Manchester Campus, to the south of the city centre.
      It is off Oxford Road, but that is only for the use of buses, taxis, emergency vehicles and cyclists during the day.
      To access the car park, exit the A57(M) Mancunian Way onto Higher Cambridge Street (A5067).
    • Visitors can use Multi-Storey Car Park D, accessed from Higher Cambridge Street.
      Blue Badge holders can park closer on Bridgeford Street, but spaces here are limited.
  • By Bus View
    • Buses 15, 41, 42, 43, 140 – 143, 147 stop on Oxford Road, close to the Museum.
  • By Train View
    • Oxford Road Station is just over a kilometre from the Museum.
      However, buses can be caught from Oxford Road Station Bus Stop B to get closer.
  • By Tram View
    • The nearest Tram Stop is St Peters Square, which is approximately 1 mile away.
