Getting Inside
- The approach to the building is step-free via slight slopes.
- The University Dental Hospital of Manchester has three entrances which provide step-free access via slopes.
The main and staff entrances have automatic doors.
The entrance to the Manchester Dental Education Centre has a manual door. - The main (patient) entrance is signed with the building name and the other entrances are signed as Staff Entrance, and the Manchester Dental Education Centre.
Getting Around
- There is step free level access on the ground floor.
- On the second floor there is stepped/ramped access to the Child Dental Health. On the second floor there is one step in the corridor leading to the Filling Station, and a ramp on the corridor leading to the Multi-Faith and Prayer Room.
- There are some narrow doorways along the circulation routes on the second floor.
- Floor surfaces along all circulation routes are hard and smooth, with some having a shiny finish.
- There are resting areas in some circulation and lobby areas with a mixture of seating.
