- Zochonis Building is a medium sized building with five floors.
- There are two lifts and one staircase within the building.
- The floors are signed as Basement, Ground, 1, 2, and 3.
This is slightly different inside the lifts where control buttons are marked as 0 instead of Ground and -1 instead of Basement.

Getting Inside
- The approach to the building is step-free via a slight slope.
- The most direct route from the car park is via steps, with a longer step-free route along the front of the building.
- The Zochonis Building has a main/accessible entrance off Brunswick Park, and a rear entrance off Dover Street.
- The accessible entrance provides step-free level access and the rear entrance has stepped access.
- The accessible entrance is not named (signed as Zochonis Building).
The rear entrance is not named or signed.
Getting Around
- There is step-free level access via lift throughout the building on all floors.
- There are six clearly marked steps to access the staircase from both entrances.
These steps have handrails on both sides. - There is key card access to the basement floor for rooms B1 to B10.
There is key card access to the ground floor for rooms G26 to G35.
There is key card access to the first floor for rooms 112A to 112B, 118 to 120C, 124C to 124E, and 126 to 131. - Floor surfaces along circulation routes are hard and smooth, with some having a shiny finish.
There are some floor surfaces which are patterned.
Some flooring on the second floor is carpeted. - There is seating available in all circulation areas on all floors including seating with and without armrests, bench seating, and sofas.
There is a study space called 'The Hub' on the ground floor which also has a mixture of seating types. - Wall mounted wayfinding signage is provided throughout the building.

- There are 2 toilets with adaptations.
- Toilets with adaptations are located on the ground floor and basement floor.
- The toilet with adaptations on the ground floor has a transfer space on both sides.

- The female toilet facilities are located on the basement, ground, first and second floors.
