Getting Here

  • By Car:
  • Spitalfields Market is located in east London, between the A10 Bishopsgate and A1202 Commercial Street.
  • Bishopsgate and Brushfield Street are within the Central London Congestion Charge Zone (charges apply Monday - Friday 07.00 - 18.00) and the Ultra Low Emission Zone (charges apply at all times for non-compliant vehicles).
  • Commercial Street is outside the charging zones.
  • Most of the main roads in the area are Red Routes where stopping is not permitted.
  • There are bollards on Brushfield Street near to Bishops Square preventing through traffic.
  • Parking:
  • There are on-street Blue Badge parking bays on Brushfield Street and further bays on Commercial Street.
  • Standard on-street parking bays are for permit holders only.
  • By Train:
  • Liverpool Street Station, on Bishopsgate, is about 250m from the nearest market entrance on Brushfield Street.
  • It is served by TFL, Greater Anglia, C2C and London Overground rail services.
  • Shoreditch High Street Overground Station is about 500m from the market entrances on Commercial Street.
  • There is step-free access from street to platform at both these stations and staff assistance with boarding ramps.
  • Accessible toilets are also available.
  • By Underground:
  • The nearest underground stations are Liverpool Street (Central, Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith & City lines) and Aldgate East (District and Hammersmith & City lines).
