Route to Accessible Entrance from Main Entrance

  • The security gate (as shown in photograph 2) is 105 cm wide and opens automatically away from you.
  • There is a key fob pad as well as an intercom located to the right of the security gate.
  • Both the key fob pad and the intercom are 105cm in height.
  • Having entered through the gate, turn left and the accessible entrance is located ahead.

Getting Around

    • The steps to the common room are located immediately beyond the entrance to the common room located in the lower ground floor lift 2 area. The ramp is located in the corridor between lift 1 & 2 on the lower ground floor and leads to the common rooms alternate entrance.
    • There are doors in corridors which have to be opened manually.

    • The building is divided into three areas conveniently labelled 1, 2 & 3. There is level access between all three areas on the ground floor and step free access on the lower ground floor.
    • There is no level access on the lower ground floor between 1 & 2 because the ramp described above and shown in photograph 2 is located between these two areas.
