Polden Court to the Access Road Crossing

Service Road Crossing

  • At the far side of the crossing the tactile paving is on a moderate slope.
  • The West Accommodation Centre is located on the left at the far side of the crossing.

Service Road Crossing to the Second Access Road Crossing

  • The surface of the path leading from the service road crossing to the second access road crossing is flag stones.
  • It is uneven in places.
  • Continue straight along this path for approximately 25m before turning right towards the crossing.

Second Access Road Crossing

  • The designated crossing has dropped kerbs with tactile paving on both sides.
  • The surface of the crossing is tarmac.

Second Access Road Crossing to Wessex House

  • There is a path leading from the second access road crossing to Wessex House.
  • On the path there are two fixed gates 2m from the second access road crossing.
  • The surface of the pathway is flag stones.
  • It is uneven in places.
  • Follow the pathway for approximately 75m before turning left through the automatic doors into Wessex House.

Wessex House to the Parade

  • The surface of the corridor in Wessex House is a synthetic non slip flooring.
  • On entering the double automatic doors turn right and after approximately 18m turn left towards the opening onto The Parade.

The Parade to the Library

  • The surface of the walkway on the Parade is made up of large flag stones which are uneven in places.
  • There is an easy slope on the parade leading to the library.
  • Continue straight down the parade passing the writing centre on your left.
  • The library is approximately 120m along the parade and located to the left.
