The Essex Sports Arena

  • This facility is a large multi purpose sports hall which contains 3 full sized courts.
  • There is removable bleachers for seating with accessible spaces at the front and on the balcony for Stand A only.

Eating and Drinking (Time Out)

  • The following information is for the cafĂ©/bar.
  • No tables are permanently fixed.
  • Some chairs are permanently fixed.
  • No chairs have armrests.
  • The nearest table is 9m (9yd 2ft) from the front lift.
  • The standard height for tables is 72cm.
  • There is ample room for a wheelchair user to manoeuvre.

    • This area is located opposite the front lift on the first floor.
    • There is a set of double doors on each end of the area.
    • There are heavy double doors with one leaf locked which is are 87cm wide and opens towards you.
    • This space serves as a breakout area throughout the year and as a bar for particular events in the arena. The specifics for food and drink service depend on the event held.
