Introduction

  • Services / facilities within the building include School of Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science (SMSAS) and the Kent Business School (KBS).

Getting Here

  • By Road View
    • The University of Kent Canterbury Campus is about 1 mile north of Canterbury city centre. Sibson building is off Parkwood Road, in the north side of the campus. Parkwood Road is off Giles Lane which connects with A290 Whitstable Road to the west and Canterbury Hill/ St Stephen's Hill to the east.
    • Sibson building has a car park with designated bays for Blue Badge holders or a University Accessible Parking Permit and standard bays for University Pink Permit holders. The nearest pay and display car parks for visitors are at the sports centre or the central visitor car park off Giles Lane.
  • By Bus View
    • There are frequent Unibus services linking the University campus with the centre of Canterbury and Canterbury East and West train stations. Route 26A operates on Saturdays in term times only and connects the campus with the city shopping areas. The nearest bus stop is on Parkwood Road close to the venue.

    • The nearest train station is Canterbury West, to the north of the city centre. There are buses linking the city centre with the University campus, with stops about 5 minutes walk from the station.
