Introduction

• Services / facilities within the building include School of Science, lecture theatres, laboratories.
• St. Michael's Building is formed of two parts - the new building and old building. The two parts of the building are linked on floors 2-5. The main entrance is via the new building on the ground floor. For level access to the majority of the building, please use the platform lift located beyond reception to access the basement as there are no lifts on the ground floor.
• Once in the new building basement use the standard lifts to access all other floors. For access to the basement level of the old building, use the old building lifts.

• By Road View
  • Take the M275 into Portsmouth. From the end of the M275, follow signs for 'Historic Waterfront/Seafront'. Cross three roundabouts to the traffic lights by Unicorn Gate (entrance to the naval dockyard) and St John's Cathedral. This is at the top of the Guildhall Campus map (see link to Maps and Directions Page below).
  • There are permit holder car parks situated nearby to the majority of University Buildings. Public car parks and on street parking is also available close to most buildings.
• By Bus View
  • Bus routes 19, The Star 7, Hoverbus, and the coach 700 Coastliner all stop on Winston Churchill Avenue. There is also a University bus, linking the Langstone Campus with the Guildhall Campus, which stops here.
• By Train View
  • Portsmouth and Southsea station is located just to the north of this part of the Guildhall Campus. From the station entrance, turn left and pass under the railway lines. Cross Isambard Brunel Road, pass through the gap in the building and then cross Guildhall Square to Guildhall Walk. Portsmouth and Southsea is served by trains from London Waterloo and Victoria, as well as South Wales, Bristol and stations along the South Coast.
