Introduction
- Services / facilities within the building include the Department of Biomedical Science Teaching Laboratories, the Medical Teaching Unit Dissecting Room, an IT Room.
- This building can only be accessed internally from floor B1 of Florey Building, floors B, C (via steps only) and D from the Edwardian Block on floor B, and from the Alfred Denny Building on floor C.
Please see the separate guides for these buildings for parking and access information. There is step free access on floor D from this building, through the Firth Court blocks to the Addison Building and into the Alfred Denny Building from there. - The campus is located to the west side of Sheffield city centre, off Netherthorpe Road and Upper Hanover Street, which can be accessed via the A61.

- The nearest station is Sheffield. Sheffield is at the heart of the UK railway network, so is easily accessed from most of the country.
There is step free access by lift to all platforms at the station. The station is 320m from the Sheffield Interchange, where buses are available to the campus, or 160m from the Sheffield Station tram stop which connects to the University of Sheffield tram stop on the Blue Line.
