Introduction
- Services / facilities within the building include the Department of Biomedical Engineering, research and teaching laboratories, social and engagement spaces, offices, teaching spaces, postgraduate research facilities, academic offices and boardroom, multi-faith room.
Getting Here

By Road
View
- The Wolfson Building is located in Glasgow on Taylor Street off Rottenrow East within the university campus.
From the M8 westbound, at junction 15 use the left 2 lanes to take the A803 exit to Cathedral Glasgow Cross.
Continue onto Stirling Road through the first set of traffic lights.
At the second set of lights take the left filter lane and turn left into Cathedral Street.
Turn right into Collins Street then at the sharp left bend, turn right to enter the Rottenrow East car park (permit required).
Continue through Rottenrow East and under the archway to turn left into Taylor Street. The Wolfson Centre is on the left. From the M8 eastbound, at junction 15, use the right hand lane to merge onto Springburn Rd/A803 towards Cathedral/Glasgow Cross.
At the first traffic lights turn right onto the A8 Castle Street.
At the next traffic lights, in front of the Royal Infirmary, continue straight ahead through the next traffic lights.
Turn right onto Rottenrow.
Go past the Barony Hall on the right, then at the sharp right bend, continue straight ahead to enter the Rottenrow East car park (permit required).
Continue through Rottenrow East and under the archway to turn left into Taylor Street. The Wolfson Centre is on the left. - For Permit Holders:-
There is a Blue Badge bay at the Wolfson Centre. Alternatively there is parking on Taylor Street, with Blue Badge bays by Chancellor's Hall and the John Anderson Building, or Blue Badge bays within the Rottenrow East car park. For Non-Permit Holders:-
The nearest public car park is in Collins Street, the Cathedral Precinct Car Park 4, next to the Barony Hall, which is 300m from the building.
Alternatively there is pay and display parking on Collins Street. Then walk through the Student Village, past the Lord Todd Building, to get access to Taylor Street and the Wolfson Centre.

- Glasgow Queen Street is 800m from the Wolfson Centre. Take the Hanover Street exit, turn left and then right along Cathedral Street. Turn right into Taylor Street. The Wolfson Centre is on the left.
High Street is a closer station, but it is below street level and has no lifts. It is not accessible to wheelchair users.

By Underground

- The nearest Underground Station is Buchanan Street which is 1km (0.5 miles)from the Wolfson Centre. From the station exit go up Buchanan Street and turn right on to Bath Street. Continue on to Cathedral Street. Turn right into Taylor Street. The Wolfson Centre is on the left.
The station is underground and has no lifts. It is not accessible to wheelchair users.
