Leave London Fields station at Mare Street Exit

Turn left up Montmore Terrace

  • The surface is uneven block paving.
  • There is a drop on the right hand side immediately in front of the houses.

Continue up the road to London Lane

  • The surface is block paving that is uneven.
  • There are a few manhole covers.
  • There is a slight gradient going down to the road.
  • Cross the service road.
  • The surface of the road is block paving and concrete.
  • At the far side the road narrows leaving a gap of 130cm.

Cross the service road

  • There is a dropped kerb that does not reach entirely the level of the road nor is it very wide on the near side.
  • The surface is a mixture of block paving and tarmac and is uneven.
  • The far side is block paving.

Turn right into London Lane

  • Just before London Lane there is a lowered section of block paving with a gentle gradient going down towards the road.
  • Turn right onto London Lane and go to the right hand side of the lampost where there is a 154cm gap between it and the flower bed.

Cross Gransden Avenue

  • There are dropped kerbs with tactile paving on both sides.
  • The road is tarmac.

Contine down London Lane towards Mare Street

  • The surface here is uneven block paving with manhole covers.
  • There is a gradient going down towards the road.
  • On the right there is a kerb in front of the trees and houses.

Continue towards Mare Street

  • The surface is block paving.
  • There surface is uneven.
  • There is a gradient going towards the road.

Cross Silesia Buildings Road

  • There are dropped kerbs with tactile paving on both sides.
  • The road is unevenly cobbled with a section of tarmac topwards the far side.
  • There is a gradient going towards London Lane Road.

Continue to Mare Street

  • The surace is block paving and slightly uneven.
  • There is a slight gradient going towards the road and manhole covers.
  • There is then a paved section in front of a cobbled service road with a moderate down slope.
  • The ramp up on the far side is easier the closer to the buildings you remain.
  • There is then a section of block paving.

Bus Stops

  • The bus stop here is St Thomas Square LQ and serves routes 48, 55, 106, 236, 254, 277, N55 and N253.
  • There are also two additional bus stops on the other side of the road.
  • One is LU, which serve routes 236 and 237, and the other is LZ which serves 48, 55, 106, 254, N55 and N253.
  • All bus stops have seats, shelters and electronic timetables.

Turn right to traffic lights

  • Go past the bus stop and continue until you reach the traffic lights.
  • There is a slight gradient going down the street and towards the road.

Cross traffic lights

  • There is an island in the middle of the road with another set of traffiic lights to reach the other side of Mare Street.
  • You will need to turn left along the cobbled surface of the island to reach them.
  • Both sides of the island and road have tactile paved dropped kerbs.

Turn right and continue down Mare Street

  • The surface is uneven block paving with slight gradients going downhill and towards the road.
  • Cross the service road to Methodist Church Car Park.
  • The surface is cracked tarmac and there is no drop onto it.
  • Continue along Mare Street.

Cross entrance to Mare Street College rear car park

  • There are tactile paved dropped kerbs on each side.
  • The road is a cobbled surface.

Keep going down Mare Street and arrive at Mare Street

  • The surface is uneven block paving with manholes.
  • There is a slight gradient going downhill and another towards the road.
  • There are bins on the left hand side and trees on the right with a minimum distance of 98cm between them.
  • The venue will be on your left in approximately 19m.
