- This reception is for the Students' Union visitors.
- The Students' Union area also contains several meeting rooms, which can be used for Students' Union business, located at the rear of reception, (photograph 2).
- Users of the Social Learning Area do not have to report to the reception desk.

- This contains a height adjustable desk, large text keyboard, a scanner and CCTV.
- The computer terminal also has assistive software, including JAWS, Dragon, SuperNova Magnifier, Mind Manager, and ClaronRead.
