Getting To The Hospital

Getting Help and Assistance

  • To see the hospital map please click here (opens new tab).
  • There is a Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) at the hospital.
  • The Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) is located within the main entrance area, opposite Costa Coffee, on Level 1.

  • Documents are available in an alternative format and can be provided to include: Braille and different languages.

    • To exit the car park and access the payment machine you must go up a steep slope.
    • This slope has a bollard at the end, with a minimum width of 164cm.

    • The ticket machine controls and slots are between 71cm to 153cm high.
    • There is also a ticket payment machine beside the entrance to Car Park 7. There is level access at this payment machine.

    • Blue Badge Holders parking inside a barrier controlled car park have unlimited free car parking time. To claim free car parking you will be asked to press the intercom at the Car Parking Exit barrier to show your Blue Badge.
    • Blue Badge Holders parking in a Blue Badge space outside of a barrier controlled car park have 3 hours free car parking.

Getting To (Antenatal Scan)

  • Antenatal Scan is/are located within the Antenatal Clinic, on level 1 of the Maternity Building.
  • Access to Antenatal Scan is via the Maternity Building - Entrance 20.
  • Enter the Maternity Building via Entrance 20.
    Proceed down the corridor and the Antenatal Clinic is located to the right.
    Enter the Antenatal Clinic and continue straight ahead and past reception.
    Antenatal Scan is located along the corridor on the right.
  • There is step free access to Antenatal Scan.
  • Antenatal Scan is approximately 35m from the Maternity Building - Entrance 20.
  • There are resting areas along the route.
  • Wayfinding signage is provided.
  • Dementia friendly signage is not provided.
  • There is flooring in corridors which is shiny and could cause issues with glare or look slippery to some people.

Outside Access (Gynaecology - Entrance 20)

  • Entrance Details View
