Introduction

  • The Chesterfield Campus is a Centre of Excellence for Health and Social Care and Nursing courses. It contains teaching rooms, including a clinical skills suite, a mock ward and an interactive simulation suite, plus a library and a refectory.

Getting Here

  • By Road View
    • For SatNav users please use the postcode S41 7LU to reach the campus. Chesterfield Campus is located in the north of the town. From the north, south, and east the campus is accessed via junction 29 of the M1. Take the A617 towards Chesterfield. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit and then take the 2nd exit at the next roundabout following signs for the town centre and station. Continue straight ahead to the traffic lights. Follow the road straight across the traffic lights, onto St Mary's Gate, passing the crooked spire church on the left. Follow the road to the left and then take the right hand lane at the traffic lights onto Saltergate. Stay in the right hand lane through two more sets of traffic lights. Take the left hand lane and following the signs for Sheffield and Worksop. At the mini roundabout take the 2nd exit, towards Sheffield. The campus is on the right hand side.
    • There are two car parking areas on campus. The Blue Badge parking is located outside the main entrance. The standard parking is located at the bottom of the grounds. Follow the signs within the campus grounds.
  • By Bus View
    • There is a bus stop on Sheffield Road outside the campus in the direction of the town centre. The bus stop is served by bus numbers 14, 25, 43, 44, 44A, 50, 50A, 50B, 78, 90, 90A, CFC, X55, and X56. There is a bus stop at Holywell Cross (Stop V) from the town centre. The bus stop is served by bus numbers 5, 10, 14, 25, 43, 44, 44A, 50, 50A, 50B, 78, 90, 90A, and CFC
