Travel and Transport

  • By Road View
    • The M6 and A38 Motorways interchange at Junction 6 (M6), where you should exit and follow the signs for the Villa Park. Villa park can be accessed by Trinity Road or Witton Lane.
  • By Train View
    • Villa Park is supported by two train stations, Aston Station and Witton Station. Both stations run regular services to and from Birmingham New Street.   • By Bus View
    • The main two bus routes servicing Villa Park are the no 7 and no 11. In addition, services 65 and 67 also operate within walking distance of Villa Park. Traffic Exclusion Zone

  • Please note that in the interest of pedestrian safety, a traffic exclusion zone is imposed around Villa Park on match days to exclude vehicles on the following roads:
  • Witton Lane - from the junction with Aston Hall Road to the traffic island at Witton Road, and Trinity Road - between Nelson Road and Witton Lane.
  • The zone is in operation from 75 minutes prior to kick off to approximately 30-60 minutes after the final whistle. The precise timing is dependent upon traffic and pedestrian movement on the affected roads.
  • If you have permit parking in the Directors & Players car park, North Stand car park or the Villa Village car park, you can access these when the traffic exclusion zone is in operation via the P2 entrance on Witton Road.
  • If you have parking in the Holte Suite car park, please ensure that you arrive 75mins prior to kick-off.

Holte End Match Day Parking

  • Access to the Holte End car park on match days is via Trinity Road.
  • On match days there will be parking attendants located at the car park entrance and in the car park.
  • There are a total of 145 parking spaces in the car park.
  • There are 22 designated Blue Badge parking bays in the Holte End car park.
  • The designated parking bay sizes vary between 270cm x 550cm to 370cm x 450cm.
  • The car park surface is tarmac
  • There are easy and moderate slopes in places within the car park
  • Access from the car park to the nearest entrance is via easy/moderate slopes.
  • On match days there is a merchandise kiosk and food stall in the car park.

North Stand Match Day Parking

  • Access to the North car park and Villa Village car park on match days is via Witton Road and Witton Lane.
  • On match days there will be parking attendants located at the car park entrance and in the car park.
  • There are a total of 47 parking spaces in the car park.
  • There are 2 designated Blue Badge parking bays in the North car park.
  • The designated parking bay sizes are 270cm x 550cm.
  • The car park surface is tarmac
  • There are easy slopes in places within the car park
  • Access from the car park to the nearest entrance is via easy/moderate slopes.

Villa Village Match Day and Non Match Day Parking

  • Access to the North car park and Villa Village car park on match days is via Witton Road and Witton Lane.
  • On match days there will be parking attendants located at the car park entrance and in the car park.
  • There are a total of 329 parking spaces in the car park.
  • There are 39 designated Blue Badge parking bays in the Villa Village car park.
  • The designated parking bay sizes vary between 370cm x 550cm, 350cm x 500cm and 270cm x 640cm.
  • The car park surface is tarmac.
  • There are easy and moderate slopes in places within the car park
  • Access from the car park to the nearest entrance is via easy/moderate slopes.
  • On match days there are food stalls and a programme selling booth in the car park.
  • Parking is free on non-match days.

Majestic Match Day Parking

  • Access to the Majestic car park on match days is via Witton Lane.
  • On match days there will be parking attendants located at the car park entrance and in the car park.
  • There are no marked parking bays within the car park.
  • There are 25 designated Blue Badge parking spaces that can be made available in the car park.
  • The car park surface is tarmac.
  • There is step free access within the car park.
  • Access from the car park to the nearest entrance is via easy/moderate slopes and dropped kerbs.

Yew Tree School Match Day Parking

  • Access to the Yew Tree School car park on match days is via Village Road.
  • On match days there will be parking attendants located at the car park entrance and in the car park.
  • There are no marked parking bays within the car park.
  • There are 45 designated Blue Badge parking spaces that can be made available in the car park.
  • The car park surface is tarmac.
  • There is step free access within the car park.
  • The car park is located over 100m away from the stadium.
  • Access from the car park to the nearest entrance is via easy/moderate slopes and dropped kerbs.

Outer Walkways

  • Witton Lane is closed off as part of the traffic exclusion zone. There is step free access along Witton Lane with dropped kerbs at various locations. The path surface is tarmac. There are food stalls located at the end of Witton Lane.
  • There is an easy slope leading from Witton Lane to the Villa Village car park.
  • The Villa Village car park is located at the front of the North Stand. There are easy and moderate slopes throughout the car park.
  • There are 15+ clearly marked, medium height steps leading to the path in front of the North Stand. The steps are overcome by a steep slope located next to the steps or by an easy slope which is located to the right of the main reception. There are match day programme booths and food stalls throughout the Villa Village car park. The surface of the Villa Village car park is tarmac.
  • There is an easy slope located next to the directors and players car park. This slope leads to the Trinity Road Stand from the Villa Village car park. There is an outer concourse located at the top of the slope. The outer concourse area has food stalls, match day ticket office counters and a merchandise kiosk. The outer concourse area has a block paving and tarmac surface.
  • There is an easy slope leading from the outer concourse area to the front of the Trinity Road Stand and the McGregor Statue. The slope overcomes 2-5 deep height steps.
  • Trinity Road Stand is closed off as part of the traffic exclusion zone. There is step free access on Trinity Road with multiple dropped kerbs. The surface of Trinity Road is tarmac. There are food stalls located along Trinity Road.
  • There is an easy slope leading from Trinity Road to the Holte End car park.
  • There are easy and moderate slopes throughout the Holte End car park. There are food stalls, match day programme booths and a merchandise stall in the car park. The surface of the car park is tarmac. There are 17 clearly marked, medium height steps with handrails on both sides leading from the Holte End car park to Witton Lane.

Doug Ellis Stand Lower Tier - Turnstiles

  • The turnstiles are located on Witton Lane.
  • There is step free access to the turnstiles.
  • The turnstile surveyed was number 65.
  • The width of the turnstile opening is 49cm.
  • On match days there is a steward stationed near the turnstiles to provide assistance.
  • There is an alternative entrance that can be used to overcome the turnstiles. A steward needs to be notified to use this entrance.

Doug Ellis Stand Lower Tier - Alternative Entrance
