  • Go through the bollards to the gates.

  • Pass through the open gates and follow the path for approximately 80m until you reach the outer concourse.

Bus Stop V to the Outer Concourse (via Stamford Gate)

  • When exiting the bus turn right and follow Fulham Road.
  • There is step-free access throughout this part of the route.
  • The surface of the path is flagstone paving.
  • There are some drain covers and slightly uneven paving along this section of the route.
  • After approximately 25m you will pass tactile paving which indicates a road crossing to the right.
  • Continue to follow the path and cross a gated driveway.
  • The driveway is flush with the path but there is a slight left to right cross slope.
  • After approximately 85m you will reach Stamford Gate.
  • Cross the access roads to the far side of Stamford Gate.
  • At the first access road traffic is coming from your right (entering the ground).
  • At the second access road traffic is coming from your left (exiting the ground).
  • The access roads are flush with the path and there is no tactile paving.
  • The path slopes slightly uphill to the far side of the gate.
  • At the far side turn left through the bollards into the site.
  • There is a 136cm gap between the bollards.
  • Follow the block paving path slightly downhill and cross the Millennium Hotel access road.
  • The path is flush with the access road and there is no tactile paving.
  • Continue along the block paving path and you will reach the outer concourse area.
  • There is step-free access onto the outer concourse.

Outer Concourse

  • The outer concourse has either a tarmac or a block paving surface. All stands are accessible via the outer concourse. There are some slight slopes located along the concourse.
  • On matchdays there are independent food stalls and mobile counters selling matchday programmes located around the concourse. On the Shed End Wall there are photographs and information about Chelsea legends.
  • All entrances into the stadium have step-free access but there are some very easy slopes along the outer concourse. There is a slope leading up to the East Stand Lower and Upper Turnstiles.
  • Clear directional signage is provided on the concourse.
  • There is a stadium plan/map on the concourse.
  • There is a steward/member of staff available for assistance on match days.
